By accessing or using Cred Events ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Cred Events provides an online platform for event organizers to create, manage, and sell tickets for events, and for customers to discover and purchase tickets to these events.
2.1 Role of the Platform
Cred Events is an intermediary platform. We do not organize events, do not guarantee that any event will take place as described, and are not responsible for refunds. Refunds are set and handled by the event organizer. The Platform and its owner are not liable for any mishaps, losses, or disputes arising from events or from your dealings with organizers.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To use certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Event Organizers
4.1 Organizer Responsibilities
Event organizers using our platform agree to:
- Provide accurate event information
- Honor all ticket purchases and provide the promised event experience
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Handle customer data in accordance with privacy laws
- Process refunds in accordance with their stated refund policy
4.2 Commission and Fees
Organizers agree to pay the platform commission rate as specified in their account settings. Commission is calculated on the ticket price before taxes and is deducted from payouts.
5. Ticket Purchases
5.1 Purchase Agreement
When you purchase a ticket, you enter into an agreement with the event organizer.Cred Events acts as an intermediary to facilitate the transaction.
5.2 Refunds and Cancellations
Refund policies are set by individual event organizers. Please review the refund policy for each event before purchasing. In case of event cancellation by the organizer, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price.
Refunds are the sole responsibility of the event organizer. The Platform and its owner act only as an intermediary and are not responsible for issuing, processing, or guaranteeing any refund. All refund requests must be directed to the organizer of the event. The Platform is not liable for an organizer's failure to honor their refund policy or for any delay or dispute regarding refunds.
6. Payment Processing
All payments are processed through our secure payment partners (Stripe, PayPal, or other authorized processors). By making a purchase, you agree to the terms of service of the applicable payment processor.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
- Scrape, collect, or harvest user data without permission
- Resell tickets in violation of applicable laws or event policies
- Create fake events or engage in fraudulent activity
8. Intellectual Property
The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Cred Eventsand are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cred Events shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Platform.
The Platform is an intermediary that connects event organizers with attendees. The Platform and its owner are not liable for any mishaps, loss, damage, injury, or disappointment arising from or related to events, including but not limited to: event cancellation, postponement, or changes; organizer conduct or failure to perform; the quality, safety, or legality of events; no-shows; or any acts or omissions of organizers, attendees, or third parties. Your contract for the event is with the event organizer; the Platform and its owner are not a party to that contract and have no liability in connection with it except as required by applicable law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cred Events and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cred Events operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
